Why one size fits all supports don’t work

Posted on: March 17, 2019

Supporting Your Feet

Foot alignment and support is so important, especially as we collect birthdays find ourselves over 30 or 40 or beyond. The feet are always taking a beating during everyday life, and even more during running, walking, or hiking.

Here is a chance to support your feet, your legs, and back while at the same time enjoy a substantial cost savings. From now until April 15, our price on custom cast foot orthotics is lowered by nearly 20%–a savings of $95.00!

Foot Alignment Changes as We Age

When foot alignment deteriorates, the angles of support to the rest of the body change, and not for the better.

This means that even if your feet do not yet hurt with these somewhat inevitable changes, the normal forces of wear and tear on your knees, hips, and lower back are altered when the feet cannot support you adequately on their own.

Alterations in the angles of operation of the knees, hips, and lower back are known to contribute injuries in addition to degenerative conditions such as arthritis and chronic tendonitis–all the way up spine!

You can often remove the source of all these problems by using carefully made, full-contact, custom-made orthotics in your shoes. Squishy, one size fits all supports are not capable of providing the complex angular support needed in both static and dynamic use, such as walking or running.

I have been a certified provider of the best foot orthotic system I have found for my patients for over 15 years. You can read more about my experience with these orthotics and how they might help you here.

This special price expires on April 15th, so don’’t delay and miss it.

If you are not sure you are a candidate for foot orthotics or if you don’t’ know if your feet really need them, give us a call and we can set up a time for a foot examination during your next office visit at no extra charge. Together, let’s make sure you have something solid to stand on!
