Why am I so enthusiastic about Vector Point?

Posted on: March 22, 2018

Every Chiropractor has a choice of techniques to use in realigning health. I have, of course, chosen to use the techniques that I believe work best.  And as most of you know, I am most enthusiastic about Vector Point Cranial Therapy. This is the technique I am using during a treatment when I am holding specific points on your head. It may seem subtle at times, but the benefits are very effective. It is a technique that is rarely used alone, as it is often combined with other chiropractic techniques to form a complete treatment experience.

Here are some of the reasons why I use Vector Point in my treatments with you:

  • Vector Point Cranial Therapy is an extraordinarily gentle technique, which allows just about anyone to experience getting natural help. This is valuable for those who are cautious about becoming a chiropractic patient, for those who are more sensitive than average, or for anyone having a low tolerance for standard adjusting. It is especially satisfying to use this work with children because they so often experience it as a fun adventure.
  • By starting a treatment with Vector Point, I can avoid causing a stressed neurological response on the way to getting balanced. This means the body doesn’t fight the treatment and allows me to accomplish my goals for you, my patient, with much less physiological interference.
  • The cranial component of Vector Point relieves stress along the areas of the head where the cranial bones meet each other. This is where the joints between the bones of the head build up a locking force due to TMJ issues, bite balance problems, trauma to the head, or compensations of pelvic imbalances. By de-stressing first with Vector Point, the actual cranial adjustments and other techniques are performed later in the treatment session. These later adjustments proceed more smoothly and with less force due to the de-stressing and consequently are likely to be more effective.
  • Vector Point promotes a balance of the whole body while relaxing and de-stressing. It is common for muscle imbalances to be causing or promoting misalignments in the spine and elsewhere in the body. Vector Point promotes a rebalancing of the muscles of alignment, re-calibrating the body’s set points for holding balance on its own.
  • Vector Point is compatible with other adjusting techniques. This gives me the opportunity to use a wider range of additional tools at each treatment, such as Advanced Cranial, Diversified, and others. Taken together in combination they comprise Vector Point Cranial Chiropractic. In this way I am able to provide a full treatment to many painful, recurring ailments that might otherwise go untreated and unresolved.

For over 25 years, I have found Vector Point Cranial Chiropractic to be a gentle and safe technique that works well to relieve pain and restore balance for a wide range of conditions in my patients. Call for an appointment today and experience the benefits for yourself!
